Yes. We are a global affiliate network. You can find our interface in 7 different languages for your convenience: English, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, German & Spanish. If you are not sure how to change your account language settings, please request that we do this for you at publishers@thinkaction.com.
Do you approve affiliates who do not own a web property?
We do prefer to see a website upon application, but feel free to let us know why this is not included in your ThinkAction application and what your marketing plans are with our campaigns. You can write to us at publishers@thinkaction.com.
May I open multiple ThinkAction accounts?
No. For Accounting and tracking purposes we require that only one account is opened per publisher.
PaymentWhat are your payment terms?
All ThinkAction Affiliate Network publishers are paid based on a Net30 schedule. Our partners must also hold a minimum balance of $30 USD or higher before payments will be processed.
How often are payments made?
We pay our partners based on a Net30 schedule. Meaning – at month’s end, it will take 30 days to process and send your payment. (i.e.; for March activity, we would send payments the first week in May).
Do I need to submit an invoice to receive payment?
No. All ThinkAction activity is paid automatically based on our network terms.
What currencies do you offer to your affiliates for payments?
We offer payment in USD, CAD, AUS, EUR and GBP. If you require payment in an alternative currency, please write to us at publishers@thinkaction.com.

Accepted Traffic
Is incentive traffic allowed?
Incentive traffic (where respondents earn cash, points, freebies or rewards for their participation) is allowed with some of our offers, but not all. You can find which campaigns allow incentive traffic by clicking on the Campaigns tab once logged into your ThinkAction Affiliate Network account, and clicking on the offer you would like to run. The campaign description will explain if the offer of interest allows either incentive or non-incentive traffic.
Can I participate in the campaigns I’m running?
To ensure we are obtaining the best possible quality, we prefer our publishers do not participate in any campaigns themselves unless it is for strict testing purposes.
Can I promote ThinkAction campaigns via social media?
Yes. As long as the quality of traffic coming in is high, ThinkAction has no problem with this type of campaign promotion.
Tracking Do your campaigns track in real-time?
Yes. All ThinkAction Affiliate Network campaigns track in real-time.
How do I know which of my members generated a lead?
To track which of your members generated a lead, we suggest subid tracking. You will need to append each participant’s unique id to the back of the ThinkAction tracking link, like this http://network.thinkaction.com/z/1234/CD1/OPTIONAL_INFORMATION. The coding to pull the subid varies per partner, so please use coding that works best with your system. In order to see a list of subids, you will need to go into your account -> Click on Stats Selection -> Select the appropriate dates -> Click Download Optional Info. This will provide a detailed CSV file of the campaign, corresponding lead, date and subid.
How can I track subids automatically within my system?
This can be done either via 3rd party tracking pixels for most of our campaigns, or via REST API. To apply to utilize a rest API, you will need to first create a userID and password. Once logged into your ThinkAction Affiliate Network account, you can go to Tools -> APIFleet Account Setup. Once there, you will need to enter in the userID and password, and save the changes. Please email publishers@thinkaction.com once this step has taken place in order to provide you with the appropriate approvals. For Subid tracking, we suggest either the getstatsubid or getsubiddetail REST calls.
If you have any questions on how to use a REST API, feel free to go to Tools and reference the APIFleet Documentation link.
General Account Questions
What is CPA Marketing?
CPA = Cost Per Action. The CPA model pays only when a specified action generates a lead. All lead definitions are located in each campaign. For example, the CPA of our Opinion Surveys campaign takes place once a survey has been completed in its entirety. Once that survey is completed, you will see a lead generated within your ThinkAction account.
What's EPC?
EPC = Earnings Per Click. The ThinkAction Affiliate Network interface breaks down your campaign earnings into EPC to show you what the lead’s CPA translated to in clicks. In other words, every time a person clicks on one of the ThinkAction campaigns, you are earning $X.XX amount.
Does ThinkAction have a publisher referral program?
Not at this time.
What should I do if I lose my password?
Please write to publishers@thinkaction.com. We will reset this for you whereupon you will receive an automatic email with the password details. Please note, the password you receive cannot be cut and pasted into the login area. It will not be recognized. Please carefully type it out into the designated space.
May I share my account with others?
Within a single company? Yes. With other publishers? No. A publisher is responsible for 100% of the leads generated on any ThinkAction campaign. All accounts are associated with a single contact and tax id number. To avoid any issues, we require one account per company/individual.
Can I transfer my account to another publisher if I’m not using it?
No. This is never acceptable. If someone else is interested in becoming an affiliate, they will need to go through the standard approval process. Transferring your account will not be approved and is grounds for termination.
What campaigns may I participate in?
All campaigns require additional approvals to participate so that we may review your current traffic and campaign practices once more prior to launch. Please pay close attention to campaign restrictions on each offer description to see if you are eligible to run specific ThinkAction Affiliate Network campaigns. Descriptions usually entail the country, gender and age restrictions, along with any other necessary details to keep in mind before running a ThinkAction campaign. Some offers allow incentivized traffic, while other offers prohibit using this type of traffic. Most campaigns allow search and the use of social media, but please email your account representative for more details on these traffic sources and marketing strategies prior to running any ThinkAction offers. If you have additional questions on the best offers for you to run within the ThinkAction Network of campaigns, please write to your account representative, or to publishers@thinkaction.com. |
